קיר אמן, בית האמנים, ראשל"צ. יוני 2020
סיגל יער, אמנית המשלבת בין עבודתה כמעצבת והיותה ציירת ופסלת, מציגה בבית האמנים בראשל"צ את קיר האמן "ימי קורונה". סיגל נוהגת ליצור על מצעי עבודה בלתי קונבציונליים ומעניקה להם חיים חדשים וכך עשתה גם בסדרת העבודות המוצגת בקיר האמן "ימי קורונה". סידרה אשר נוצרה בתקופת ה"ריחוק החברתי" בשל מגפת הקורונה.
סיגל מביעה באופן אמיץ תחושות ומחשבות המאפיינות את רובנו בעת הזו. הסידרה נותנת הצצה למצב הנפשי והפיזי של האמנית בתקופת הקורונה ועושה שימוש גם בדימויי אביזרים וסמלים המייצגים את התקופה שהפכו אף הם לסוג של אטריבוטים תקופתיים.
סיגל מוסיפה למרבית העבודות שיר שמתחבר או משמש כהשראה לעבודה.
סיגל הציגה את עבודותיה בתערוכות קבוצתיות רבות ולאחרונה, בשנת 2019, בתערוכת יחיד אישית ומרגשת "אלת הפריון – סיפור משא" בגלריה טובה אוסמן בת"א באוצרותה של נורית טל-טנא.
סידרת העבודות הנוכחית הוצגה בתערוכה הוירטואלית באוצרותי "זום אין – זום אאוט" שהוצגה בתקופת ה"ריחוק החברתי הקורוני" בפייסבוק וזכתה במקום הראשון כאהובת הקהל.

Sigal Yaar, an artist who combines her work as a designer with her practice as a painter and sculptor, presents at Beit Ha’Artists in Rishon LeZion the artist wall “Corona Days.”
Yaar is known for creating on unconventional work surfaces, giving them new life, and she continues this approach in the series presented in the artist wall “Corona Days,” a body of work created during the period of “social distancing” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yaar courageously expresses feelings and thoughts that characterized many of us during this time. The series offers a glimpse into the artist’s physical and emotional state during the coronavirus period and incorporates images of objects and symbols representing the era, which have themselves become a kind of contemporary attributes.
In most of the works, Yaar adds a poem that either connects to or serves as inspiration for the piece.
Yaar has exhibited her work in numerous group exhibitions and recently, in 2019, held a moving solo exhibition, “Fertility Goddess – A Burdened Story,” at Tova Osman Gallery in Tel Aviv, curated by Nurit Tal-Tenna.
The current series was also presented in the virtual exhibition curated by the artist, “Zoom In – Zoom Out,” shown during the COVID-era social distancing period on Facebook, where it won first place as the audience’s favorite.
